Hovering Cars are often shown in Outer Space movies. Some films show Hovering Cars running in city street with fully computerized panels in it. Can you imagine it as a reality? You can see how it will be in a You Tube video.
In the video, Hovering Car has been launched as a new concept car by VW in China. VW has introduced People's Car Project (PCB) in China to gather ideas from VW's lover about how future VW will be. Beside Hovering Car, other future car's technologies launched as new VW's concept cars are Music Car and Smart Keys that involving integration of online technologies in cars.
With the Outcomes of People's Car Project, VW has been the number one car producers accepted by customers in China. There are a lot of doubt that VW Hovering Car will be implemented as a product at near future, but VW seem seriously handled this Hovering Car idea as a new design concept. The concept has been shown at last 2012 Bejing Auto Show.
In the video above, it is shown that a Chinese couple has a test driving of VW Hovering Car around the street of Chengdu. It is also demonstrated some features that will be in the concept car including Auto Pilot mode and Security Sensor to avoid accident.
Is it mean that Hovering Car will be nearly produced? Who knows? We know that Magnetic Levitation Trains has been produced and operated with the similar technology, although it is very expensive. And do you remember the concept of Video Call that was shown at a 1994 Disney film, Richie Rich, it is now can be easily found at every phones. So why is it impossible for hovering cars to be produced?
